difference ASF IAMT and vpro secured

I am looking to purchase some new PC hardware from Dell.  One of the options I am trying to decide on is ASF, iAMT and vPRO.  I am looking for an article that can provide me the differences.

I currently have SCCM running in my environment and I would like to use this to assist in the management of the PCs.

Hi,

You can find a series of blogs comparing ASF and AMT here. The links to other parts of this blog are given at the bottom of this page.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Sree

Re: difference ASF IAMT and vpro secured

AMT provides more security and functionality than ASF. AMT also provides support for multiple power policies and supports configuration of the maximum Power State where Intel AMT will operate. AMT provides mutual authentication between client and console along with encrypted communication to guard against unauthorized access to networks and PCs, along with the ability to read hardware and software asset information even from PCs that are turned off or down.
