Big list of AMT questions

  1. If the PC is provided a static IP in the BIOS then how can that PC be accessed via Internet from any where in the world?

  1. How to access C drive of vPro thru web browser (using http)?

  1. Can we write data or an Exe into 3PDS during runtime?

  1. What is the amount of available memory?

  1. If programs are written in C# or VB.Net in BIOS then how will be able to run our applications?

  1. Is there any API or Web Services that can transfer data remotely into vpro’s C drive?

  1. Can we create our own interface for vPro machine that can be accessed via http?

  1. Can we create our own Web service if yes then what is the process to host and where should we host it?
  2. What features are different in cPro and vPro, can we get a comparative list of both?

Really Apprecate your answers and thoughts on these which would help in helping us build our application using AMT capabilities

Re: Big list of AMT questions - static IP question

Hey,

I am categorizing your big list here :)

  1. If the PC is provided a static IP in the BIOS then how can that PC be accessed via Internet from any where in the world?

You should have a Gateway system (software) on the same network as the client and the remote system should have connectivity to this Gateway device. I assume you are asking about the situation where your AMT client is within your network and you are trying to access it from a remote system external to this network

Thanks,

Sree
