ATTN: Lexi -- Stale information about document versions

Lexi, I already complained via email long time ago that this page has stale information regarding documentation versions.

Why is it so hard for those who maintain the website to edit that?

Why do we have to redownload the manuals each time to discover whether they have changed or not? Where is the RSS feed for that page?

Re: ATTN: Lexi -- Stale information about document versions

Hi Igor,

That's not part of the Intel(R) Software Network site -- hence no RSS feed, and it's outside our ability to edit their docs or change their site strategy.  You should send feedback about both to the Intel(R) Hardware Design site team and tell them you like the way we do it. :)

Hi Lexi, I see, but I still fail to understand why developer's manuals are not part of ISN?

Re: ATTN: Lexi -- Stale information about document versions

Basically because the engineering teams on the processor architecture side have always written and maintained them, and remain the most qualified to do so.

While the HW design site operates with a whole lot more formality than ISN does, their escalation process for correcting site issues does work (I know, I used to do that job) -- so I definitely recommend you email them directly about anything that needs correcting.
