My entries

Why i can't see my entries, after registration and login?

Re: My entries

Hi--

I have the same question.

We submitted an entry for our game demo yesterday, and received an automated reply e-mail that said it would either be approved or not within four hours.

24 hours later, our contest entry seems to have disappeared. It doesn't show up in the "My Entries" area for our team's account, and we have not heard a peep from the contest administrators.

Thanks!

Re: My entries

It looks like today was the day for new contest entries to appear, and our entry has now appeared on the contest site.

Thanks!

Here's quick tip for anyone else submitting a contest entry - the main gallery image for your game needs to have the same width and height, or it will be cropped off on the sides.

Re: My entries

One other tip - be careful to only update screenshots when it's really necessary. Our contest entry was removed and now has to be re-approved, just because we fixed the cropping on our gallery screenshot and re-submitted our contest entry.

Apparently there is no way to edit a contest entry without it being removed from the contest site and re-submitted for approval.

Re: My entries

Yeah, looks like this just happened to my entry. My entry was (briefly) on the list of entries yesterday. Then I decided to do a small update on the description, and it went away. Now, about 12 hours later, it's not back yet!

This is unfortunate. I'm currently working very hard on my demo, so I was hoping I could update the media frequently.

Re: My entries

... and, two days later, it's not back yet.

It's kind of frustrating when you see obviously fake entries getting approved, with people posting pictures of themselves, and an entry for which an actual working demo exists doesn't. Is there a rule against updating an entry?

Re: My entries

There isn't a rule about updating entries. It appears we had a backlog over the weekend of new and updated entries, so we apologize for the delay. You should see your entry now. Thanks, Tonya
