IAvAxis.Vertical property vs. transform rotations
Hi all --

Does anyone have any idea what extra side-effects there are (if any) with respect to setting the IAvAxis.Vertical property in the object model?  That is, as opposed to simply rotating the axis' transform +90 or -90 degrees?

I ask because there is no documentation as far as how a Z axis is created, as opposed to a Y axis.  It seems like the thing to do is to pretend that you're building a Y axis, then at the last minute, to reduce the Position.Size[2] parameter to 0.  Apparently, that tells the object model that the Vertical parameter no longer flips the axis from the X direction to the Y direction, but instead flips the axis from the X direction to the Z direction.  I wonder what else is getting flipped, since it's pretty hard to figure out how to place RefLine, Label.Base, and other parameters afterwards...

I've been conducting experiments all week, and nothing seems to be consistent, which means that I'm forgetting to change a parameter along with the others when they change...

Thanks,

Elias Sabbagh
