Unofficial Use of TBB Logo

Hey,

If the canary is the official TBB logo, is it free to be used on other sites?  For instance, Tux is freely available for usage without restriction.  I would like to be able to use the TBB logo on some of my own sites, and would like to ask that if permission has not yet been given to the community to freely use it, that this permission be granted.

Thanks,

AJ

Sorry for keeping silence. Due to summer time, investigation of the question takes longer than desired. We will inform you on the answer after all clarifications are made.

Re: Unofficial Use of TBB Logo

Finally we heard back from the marketing person in charge of this decision.  And the answer is: YES!

Adrien, under separate mail I've sent you a GIF file of the Chirp Intel(r) Threading Building Blocks 2.1 logo.  As long as you don't modify the image (in particular, removing the product name), you're free to display it on your TBB-related website(s).  Once again, sorry that it took so long.
