TBB Tests question

Since that's the point of this exercise, isn't it? :D

I just installed TBB on Linux (I'd been developing on Windows up until now), and as part of the install, a number of tests are run, including timing tests for various techniques. Do you have any tips on what you can read out of this? I already knew I had two cores, but it was still nice to see things improving (often nearly linearly) with two threads, and stopping there.

I thought it was interesting that the test I saw as optimized (ParallelSumTree) didn't make much of a difference at all.

Any things in particular to look for? Your scalable allocateor seemed much better than new (also serially!) Spin_mutex's seem to be a win...
