Intel tools evaluation ?

Hi,

for the current contest, I have used the Intel C++ compiler on MacOS X but my evaluation version is expiring.

Linux users could get an "unlimited evaluation" for non-commercial use.

Will it be possible to get an equivalent "unlimited evaluation" for other platforms (MacOS X, Windows) for the participant of this contest ?

Another solution will be to install Linux on my MacPro (directly or through a virtualization software).

Am I the only Mac developer trying to use Intel compiler for these problems ?

Best regards.

No,

every month I have to install icc and it would be nice to have a licence at least for the rest of the contest.

For linux, they don't consider it evaluation, it is a 'free non-commercial license'. Doubtful they would allow a 'year' evaluation on the commerical OSes - a bunch of people would likely signup just for access to the software.

It did seem strange that the grand prize is a Mac Book Pro, but they are not including a license for the Intel Compiler for MacOS. Also, it seems like they could add some of the tools as monthly prizes without really costing them much.
