Winning Solution for QUICKSORT Problem Set

Congratulations to Wei-Yin Chen for winning our first problem set. Attached is his winning solution. It is designed for LINUX. You should be able to download and decompress the files using WinZip.

Feel free to discuss this solution and pick up pointers for your next problem set (or even for your day to day work). Remember, this is only the first round and there are 11 more to go. Each problem set presents a different challenge so anybody could win the next one. The point totals for the grand prize are cumulative so every problem set you participate in increases your chances to win. Good luck!

What about points

Why Anthony Williams has more points than Wei-Yin Chen that is the winner?

Anyway, I tested his solution and it is slower than mine and much slower than the one of

jpd@internetimds.com.
